There are several different patterns of these 100 schilling coins issued during the Winter Games in Innsbruck. We have shown a popular pattern, but there are about 6 others. All coins contain 0.492 troy ounces of silver, and that is where they get their value. At current silver prices, the coin's value is about $8 US dollars. If silver goes up, the price will be more. Look at web sites such as kitco.com to track the current price of silver.
(Note to Chantell: You indicate that your coin is made of copper. We do not know of any such coins. If you would like to send pictures of your copper Inssbruck 100 schilling, please do. Use the 'Contact' button at the top of the home page to start an e-mail exchange.)
