Medal US Aroostook County, Maine 1989

I graduated from the University of Maine in Orono back in the mid-1960s. We used to go up to 'the County' to hunt and fish. I hope it is still as beautiful as ever (except for the black flies).

This is a modern medal cast out of some type of base metal. It is worth a few US dollars.

If you think you might have a silver version, take it to a jeweler and have it tested for silver content.
