Namibia 1 Dollar 1993 to 2010

Namibia was a German colony in 1884 under Otto von Bismarck and was known as German South-West Africa (Deutsch-Südwestafrika). South Africa occupied the colony in 1915 after defeating the German force during World War I. Namibia it gained it sindependence from South Africa in 1990, following the Namibian War of Independence.

These brass coins are worth face value in Namibia. All dates are worth much less than $1 US dollar when in circulated condition. A collector might pay a few dollars for an uncirculated coin.
