We could not find much information about this modern-day medal celebrating the famous 1508-1509 Sebastian Cabot expedition looking for a North-West passage through North America to the Old World.

The medal in the picture came from a recent eBay auction which realized a few US dollars. That is the value for a beat-up medal like the one shown. If you can find a medal like this in better condition, the price would go up. Roughly as follows:
