Isle of Man Bicentenary of the U.S. Constitution Commemorative Crown 1987

In 1987, the Isle of Man issued a coin to commemorate the 200-year anniversary of the United States Constitution. The obverse shows Queen Elizabeth and the reverse design depicts the busts of eleven well known U.S. presidents surrounding the Statue of Liberty.

This coin is made of copper-nickel and weighs 28.47 grams. It is 38.5mm in diameter. While it is an interesting coin to look at, it is not terribly valuable. Here are the approximate catalog values for this coin:

If you think you might have one of these two versions, the quickest way to find out is to look on the coin -- the precious metal versions of this coin will say 'fine palladium ounce' or 'fine platinum ounce' on the bottom of the reverse.
