Token China Zhao Cai Jin Bao with Dragon and Phoenix

This is a modern charm from the Far East that is made to look old. The inscription reads, from top, to bottom, right, left: zhao cai jin bao which means, roughly, you are going to be rich! It is a 'good luck' charm.

There are many different varieties of this piece. A Google search on zhao cai jin bao brings up numerous examples. Some of the pieces can be quite large and quite beautiful.

These items sell on eBay for a few US dollars. A collector might pay as much as $2 to buy an example like the one in the picture.
