Estonia 10 and 20 Senti 1931 to 1935

Hello Jeronimo -- Coins from the Baltic Republic of Estonia, 1918 to 1941, carry good collector value. I am not exactly sure why this is. Estonian coins disappear after World War II when first Germany, then the USSR (Russia), took over. After they re-appeared in 1991, Estonian coins are barely noticed. But, for coins between 1918 and 1941, surprisingly high catalog values appear. These values are validated by very high auction prices. Collecting a nice set of Estonian Republic coins would be a great numismatic challenge.

Here are typical catalog values for the 10 and 20 senti coins, both made of nickel-bronze:

10 SENTI (all are dated 1931):
worn: $3 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $4
well preserved: $15
fully uncirculated: $30

10 SENTI (all are dated 1935):
worn: $66 US dollars approximate catalog value
average circulated: $8
well preserved: $18
fully uncirculated: $32
