The inscriptions are plain on this old jeton (token) from Nuremburg, Germany. God-heros Hercules, Pallas (who helped him overcome Strife), and Neptune appear on the front and back. This is a jeton of Hans Krauwinckel, who, with his brother and son, created a great deal of nice-looking tokens during the late renaissance period. If you can find one of these tokens in excellent condition, you have found something special. Most are worn to a frazzle and are worth very little:
