Medal US We The People Constitution Anniversary 1787

These are beautiful pieces. The theme, artistry, and overall presentation are wonderful. They make great gifts.

However, these are not coins, but medals made during modern times of copper and plated with an ultra-thin layer of gold. Do not confuse them with other 'We the People' and 'US Constitution' coins that can be quite valuable. Instead, these run as follows:

circulated: $1 US dollar or less
fully uncirculated: $2 or $3 US dollars retail price

Don't be surprised if a vendor tries to sell this to you for lots of money, pretending it is solid gold and made by the US Mint. It is neither.

Note that medals like this are issued often, with different anniversary dates and different patterns. They all carry low value.
