Hello again, Bette -- You have an old 20 reis coin from Portugal which catalogs around $5 US dollars in average circulated condition. These were also made in 5 and 10 reis denominations. They look the same, only smaller and with the corresponding Roman numeral on the back.
In our picture, the front of the coin is average circulated. But the back has a little pitting and that will lower value.
