Haiti 1 and 2 Centimes 1881
Haiti issued a bunch of coins in 1881. Most are worn to a frazzle by now, so if you have one in good condition it carries collector value.
There are 100 Haitian centimes in a Haitian Gourde, and the 1881 issue included 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 centimes, and 1 gourde coins. Only the 1 and 2 centimes were issued in bronze.
Catalog values for the 1 and 2 centime coins are the same, and run like this:
1 AND 2 CENTIMES:
worn: $3 US dollars
average circulaed: $6
well presrved: $15
fully uncirculated: $60
These are inflated catalog values. Use our Terminology page to understand what 'catalog value' means.
