It turns out that Norway did not make a 2 skilling coin in 1839, Big Ed. Nor did related countries Sweden, Finland, or Denmark. If you check your coin, I'm pretty sure you will find it to be a one-half skilling piece from Norway. Our picture shows the 1/2 skilling coin, as advertised by respected eBay seller dnecoins. DNE's specimen is a great coin, with little wear, no problems, and attractive eye appeal.
