John F. Kennedy was such a beloved US president that oodles and oodles of tokens, medals, and medallions have been made in his honor. These medals are not limited to America only, for his fame spread worldwide.
If you find a medal that is made of gold and silver, it will be worth the weight of the precious metal it contains. You will find inscriptions such as 'fine gold' or 'pure silver' on the piece somewhere (look on the edge). If no inscription is present, the piece is not made out of gold or silver. Look up the current value of gold and silver on the web at sites such as kitco.com.
With no precious metal these pieces are worth a few US dollars. Of course the sentimental value might be much more than that.
