Proof versions of your coin (proof coins are fancy coins produced only for collectors) are made of 92% silver and those are worth a few tens of US dollars. As a copper nickel piece, your coin is worth face value in the Azores. A collector would probably pay $3 to $6 to add it to his or her collection. Why? Because it's a neat coin!
