Nice coin, Jonathan. There are two good dates in the series: 1925 and 1932. All other dates follow these approximate catalog values:
worn: $3 US dollars catalog value
average circulated (like our picture): $4
well preserved: $10
fully uncirculated: $40
For the 1925 and 1932 dates, multiply these values by 6.
Silver content and design of the reverse varies with date as follows:
1911 to 1919: 0.336 troy ounces silver, B reverse
1920 to 1926: 0.182 ounces silver, B reverse
1927 to 1936: 0.182 ounces silver, A reverse
On this page the 'A' reverse is shown in our main picture (upper left) and the 'B' reverse is shown in our secondary picture (lower right).
Just about all coins between 1911 and 1919 are softly struck. This means that, even without any wear, the details in the pattern are lacking. If you can find a nice specimen from 1911 to 1919 that is fully struck, with crisp, sharp details, it is worth about twice the values shown above.
Remember these are catalog values and must be properly interpreted to get real, actual buy and sell values. For more information on this, go to our Terminology page.
