Chile 5, 10, 20, 40, 50 Centavos and 1, 2, 5 Pesos 1895 to 1941

Yo, Lynn. Nice catch. Can't you envision that condor soaring high above those majestic Chilean mountains?

The condor-on-rock pattern appears on 5, 10, 20, and 40 centavos coins from Chile, as well as the 1 and 2 pesos. Most of these coins carry low value, even though some coins with certain dates are made of silver. The silver purity, however, is not high, ranging from 40 to 50 percent pure. We list the predominant values for each denomination and call out some special cases.
