These are modern 50 pence coin from Ireland. Check the date. Like all modern coins made of non-precious metal, they are worth face value. Use xe.com to do exchange rate calculations to find the value of 50 pence in other currencies.
Some coins appear to be dated 1861. No strictly Irish coins were issued between 1813 and 1928, so an 1861 coin with the celtic harp is not possible. Instead we have a simple mis-read of the date. Turn the coin one way, it's an 1981; the other way it's 1861. It is just one of those things.
