The bust of the reigning British monarch appears on the obverse ('heads' side) while a cool outrigger canoe shows on the reverse.
As usual, modern coins are worth face value unless they are in splendid, fully uncirculated condition. If you have an uncirculated example, a collector might pay a few US dollars to add it to his or her collection.
The exception is the very earliest issues from 1934, 1935 and 1936, which have a decent collectible value given that the coins are in pristine condition. Uncirculated examples from these years catalog at $70.
