Spain 1/2, 1, 2, 4, and 8 Reales 1812 to 1833

Spain 1/2, 1, 2, 4, and 8 Reales 1812 to 1833

King Ferdinand VII ruled Spain between 1808 and 1833 and his likeness appears on old Spanish reales with those dates. These coins circulated freely in the New World and were used in the United States often.

There are many numismatic (coin collector) nuances about old Spanish coins and our value listings show only average, typical values. If your coin is in very good shape, has pleasant eye appeal, and perhaps carries special mint marks or initials, it might be worth more than the values shown below. Find a knowledgable collector or coin dealer and discuss your coin with him or her.

NEVER CLEAN A COIN. CLEANING RUINS VALUE.
