The 25 and 50 ore denominations look very similar for these years. They are made of copper-nickel and carry roughly similar collector values, but neither is very valuable except for a few special cases, shown below.
The values cited are approximate catalog values. Our Terminology page gives information about how to convert catalog value to actual buy and sell value.
25 ORE
worn: less that $1 US dollar approximate catalog value
average circulated (like our picture): $1
well preserved: $3
fully uncirculated: $20
25 ore coins dated 1929 are more rare and catalog values approximately double; fully uncirculated 1929s catalog over $250
50 ORE
worn: less that $1 US dollar approximate catalog value
average circulated (like our picture): $1
well preserved: $3
fully uncirculated: $20
25 ore coins dated 1929 are more rare and catalog values approximately double; fully uncirculated 1929s catalog over $500
Further, just about all these coins are minted in copper nickel (as shown). There are a few coins dated 1942 in both 25 and 50 ore denominations that are minted in nickel brass. These are worth over $100 catalog value when in well preserved condition.
